We keep only the data needed to respond to requests, and we never sell it or share it with third parties. Information you enter in a license or contact form is used only to review that request.

Protecting sensitive locations

The exact habitat coordinates of sensitive species are never published publicly. The map shows only a generalized, approximate range so that habitats and wildlife stay safe.

Use & license requests

For any media use of a species' images or content, you must submit a “license request” from that species' page. Unlicensed use of works is not permitted.

Media rights & ownership

All images are published with clear credit and legal status. The original, un-watermarked file is never publicly available. Media legal statuses are:
